Documents that I need when we travel or PCS, I keep in Fireproof Document bags because they can easily fit in my bag and they are protected. My husband brings these on his deployments to keep his important documents safe as well. You can find them here:
Documents such as our military orders, Last Will & Testament, lease, car registration, bills of sale, insurance documents, and medical records are kept in a fireproof safe in my home. I do not allow the movers to pack these items, so I just grab the safe and take it with us when we move. You can find the one I have here:
